A Complete Camper, Perfectly Built with Endless Features.
MERCEDES METRIS FULL CAMPER VAN
The perfect family camper van & daily driver.
Our Mercedes Metris campers are similar to the classic Volkswagen camper vans but different. Simply put, this is the best small-footprint camper van in the US Market. We spent over three years researching, developing, and refining the approach.
With hundreds on the road and almost 3,000 rental nights, we know what we are doing. Peace Vans has a well-deserved reputation in the VW Camper community for being the best craftspeople and professionals, so we’ve extended that into our modern Metris business.
No compromises have been made on this build-out. The dual slider doors provide some great new features - the biggest being convenient access to your cabinet, stove, and sink from outside the van on the driver’s side. Inside the van, the new cabinet is made locally in the Pacific Northwest with the best materials available - from Richlite countertops to 7-ply birch.
The rest of the van is just as beautifully thought out. Building a camper van in a small space is hard, and taking shortcuts or hiding messes is easy. Our team of designers and craftsmen gave thoughtful consideration to every trim piece, joint, edge, and feature, and we never once compromised on quality for cost or speed.
But it’s not just the things you see that set us apart — it’s the things you don’t. Our wire harnesses are custom-loomed and built by a world-class team. All hardware is top-quality and from the best sources. Our expert team even installs sound-deadening material and thermal insulation throughout the van to ensure your driving experience is quiet and you sleep warm and cozy. Folks will look at your new Metris and think - “wow, who built this?”

We can install solar on the roof, but our years of experience lead us to recommend you buy a flexible, portable panel and use that when camping (with a long cord, so your van can be in the shade while the panel is in the sun).
