SPrinter/Class B Van Repair-Upgrade Shop

Class B service technician

Launched in the summer of 2023, our newest business is focused on supporting existing owners of Class B vans - most typically Sprinters. We leverage our expertise in RV side systems and our similarly deep network of vendors and products to offer world-class service to van owners who want upgrades, repairs, or jump-starts on their builds. This shop does everything from troubleshooting and repairs of popular camper van conversions (Storyteller, Revel, Outside Vans, and more) as well as smaller boutique builders. We also offer the latest upgrades from exterior components (racks, ladders, spares, winches, etc.) and vehicle upgrades (suspension, rear lockers, etc.) to interior work on battery systems, heaters, lighting, and even assistance with cabinets and other interior components. We are certified Smartfloor and pop-top installers and can offer the full suite of these products installed by our experts.

This team is seeking a new member to join immediately. To qualify, you should have the following:

  • Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3 years experience in a production environment - camper vans, auto tech, light manufacturing, trades, etc.

    • Strong preference for experience with Sprinter camper vans or similar

    • 2 excellent, professional references

    • A passion for and knowledge of the camper van space

    • Ability to lift 50-75 pounds and work a full day in a production environment

    • Attention to detail, cleanliness and a positive attitude towards being part of a team

    • Small set of your own tools

    • Some knowledge of 12V electricity


    Responsibilities:

    • Installation of key aftermarket kits and components - suspension, brakes, exterior accessories, interior components and more

    • Stocking parts as they arrive - receiving them in, checking for damage, generating RMAs as necessary. 

    • Keeping the shop orderly and clean

    • Build out of standalone systems as necessary - 12V electrical systems, water systems, interior cabinetry, etc.

    • Driving vans from various locations to shop/from shop

    • Shop open and close procedure

    • $20-$33/hour DOE

Sales Operation Manager: ID. Buzz

We are currently hiring a new member of our ID. Buzz team here in the Seattle, WA offices of Peace Vans. As we ramp up the exciting family of ID. Buzz products and projects, Peace Vans is seeking a member of the team who can create, manage and own all the processes associated with sales of the ID. Buzz product lines. This role is a mix of sales, operations, customer support and all the things. You will be leverage existing Peace Vans processes and adjust, modify, change them as necessary to support our growth and help us continue to exceed customer (internal and external) expectations. Specifics tasks will include:

  • Owning CRM integration with the sales and delivery process. Making sure contacts and leads flow seamlessly into our CRM system, tasks are automated and serious inquiries are converted to deals for the sales team to work with

  • Assure proper tracking is in place to understand and measure marketing ROI for contact and lead generation within the context of the CRM tools. Assuring we understand where each lead, deal and sale originated and being able to measure these results

  • Flawless management of customer orders insuring all the details of a customer order are accurately entered into our production systems and internal stakeholders have the information to succeed

  • Vehicle management. Responsible for the processing of new vans as they arrive and managing the vans as they await conversion. Also working with VW of America for the ordering and processing of Peace Vans allocated ID. Buzz units

  • Dealer sales program. Working with VW dealers to insure fulfillment of Peace Vans ID. Buzz orders

  • Customer Deliveries. Be the point person for customer communication throughout the sales process and through delivery including orientation and post sales support

  • Product Development and Management. Assist the engineering team by being the voice of the customer for product design and management. Work with the marketing team to insure accurate reflection of product details in product literature. Support marketing with social media content and production as necessary

This is a W-2, Full Time, Non-exempt role (salary) $55,000-$65,000. Peace Vans offers a collection of other great benefits including being a great place to work.
