SPrinter/Class B Van Repair-Upgrade Shop

Launched in the summer of 2023, our newest business is focused on supporting existing owners of Class B vans - most typically Sprinters. We leverage our expertise in RV side systems and our similarly deep network of vendors and products to offer world-class service to van owners who want upgrades, repairs, or jump-starts on their builds. This shop does everything from troubleshooting and repairs of popular camper van conversions (Storyteller, Revel, Outside Vans, and more) as well as smaller boutique builders. We also offer the latest upgrades from exterior components (racks, ladders, spares, winches, etc.) and vehicle upgrades (suspension, rear lockers, etc.) to interior work on battery systems, heaters, lighting, and even assistance with cabinets and other interior components. We are certified Smartfloor and pop-top installers and can offer the full suite of these products installed by our experts.

JOB TITLE: Sprinter Install TEchnician

This team is seeking a new member to join immediately. To qualify, you should have the following:

  • Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3 years experience in a production environment - camper vans, auto tech, light manufacturing, trades, etc.

    • Strong preference for experience with Sprinter camper vans or similar

    • 2 excellent, professional references

    • A passion for and knowledge of the camper van space

    • Ability to lift 50-75 pounds and work a full day in a production environment

    • Attention to detail, cleanliness and a positive attitude towards being part of a team

    • Small set of your own tools

    • Some knowledge of 12V electricity

    Responsibilities:

    • Installation of key aftermarket kits and components - suspension, brakes, exterior accessories, interior components and more

    • Stocking parts as they arrive - receiving them in, checking for damage, generating RMAs as necessary. 

    • Keeping the shop orderly and clean

    • Build out of standalone systems as necessary - 12V electrical systems, water systems, interior cabinetry, etc.

    • Driving vans from various locations to shop/from shop

    • Shop open and close procedure

Job Title: General Manager, Sprinter & Class B Service

Position Overview

The General Manager, Sprinter & Class B Service is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Sprinter and Class B service business at Peace Vans. This role combines marketing, sales, operations, and leadership responsibilities to drive growth, profitability, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial leader with experience in automotive service, a strong marketing mindset, and a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.  Must have deep knowledge and experience of the Sprinter space.  The ideal candidate will be able to take a 360 degree view of the business and drive growth over the next 2-4 years to build Peace Vans into a recognized leader in the space. 

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Growth Strategy

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive customer engagement and revenue growth.

  • Create and distribute compelling content across web, email, social media, and other marketing channels.

  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and increase customer conversions.

  • Collaborate with the broader Peace Vans team to align marketing initiatives with the company’s brand and growth objectives.

Financial & Business Management

  • Own the overall profitability of the Sprinter & Class B service division, with a primary focus on gross margin.

  • Develop and manage budgets, track financial performance, and implement cost-control measures.

  • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities, partnerships, and service offerings.

Sales, Estimating & Customer Relations

  • Lead the sales and estimating process, ensuring accurate pricing and exceptional customer service.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers - phones, emails, social media and walk ins.

  • Implement and refine the customer experience journey, from inquiry to post-service follow-up.

  • Foster long-term relationships with customers to drive repeat business and referrals.

Operations & Team Leadership

  • Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team of technicians, service advisors, and support staff as the business grows.

  • Establish clear performance goals, provide coaching, and create a positive, team-oriented work environment.  Develop these skills in conjunction with PV leadership team.

  • Implement and optimize workflows to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

  • Drive operational excellence by continuously refining processes and service offerings.

Supply Chain & Inventory Management

  • Oversee sourcing, ordering, and inventory management to ensure timely availability of parts and materials.

  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to optimize cost and availability.

  • Implement systems to track inventory levels, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.

  • Have deep industry knowledge around trends and emerging solutions. 

  • Develop and foster relationships with industry partners to ensure visibility of Peace Vans and continue to leverage strong PV relationships

Leadership & Strategic Planning

  • Act as a key member of the Peace Vans leadership team, contributing to the company’s overall vision and growth strategy.

  • Collaborate with other departments to drive cross-functional initiatives and ensure alignment across the organization.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep Peace Vans at the forefront of the market.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within automotive service, aftermarket vehicle modifications, or a related field.

  • Strong marketing acumen, with experience in content creation, digital marketing, and performance tracking.

  • Proven track record of driving profitability, managing budgets, and improving gross margins.

  • Experience leading sales and customer service teams, with a focus on high-quality customer experiences.

  • Hands-on experience with sourcing, ordering, and inventory management.

  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to attract and retain top talent.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for problem-solving, innovation, and business growth.

  • Familiarity with camper vans, Sprinter conversions, or the adventure vehicle industry is required

This is a salaried, Full Time role with significant upside for the right person.

Part-Time/Contract Marketing Support

Peace Vans is looking for a part-time (8-16 hours per week) person to provide marketing support across all our businesses. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Content production. Coming on site, you will generate content for our various social media channels and push it out live. This will include photography, video and rare print materials

  • Social Media. Taking net-new content produced plus digging through our extensive archives you will generate a social media strategy and execute that strategy.

  • Website updates and maintenance. You will monitor the website for performance, SEO optimization and make necessary edits and changes as required by business objectives

  • Potential even support

To be successful, you must have strong content production instincts and skills, be savvy with social media, and have an eye for detail that helps produce high quality work. You should also be immersed in best practices around website analytics and optimization and be familiar with reporting tools.
