Power while camping is one of the most important camping investments you will make. Over the past few years, the proliferation of LiFEPO4 batteries has been a game changer. We offer a wide solution of battery sizes that can fit both in the stock location or, for more power, we can locate batteries elsewhere in the van.
All battery systems use top of the line components that we have installed and tested over 100’s of vans - probably even over 1000.
Every system is robustly tested for both safety and performance before we turn the van back over to you.
-
Stereo upgrades
Remove and replace any part of the interior, including dashboard
Center consoles
New door cards

Is your 30-year-old stock fridge just not cutting it anymore? Want to extend your camping season to all four seasons? Kill the proverbial two birds with one stone and upgrade your van-life experience with a new refrigerator and heater installed beautifully and elegantly in the existing fridge space.
TRUCKFRIDGE AND WEBASTO KEY FEATURES
The Truckfridge 49 (TF49) has almost 50% more space than the stock fridge
The TF49 actually makes ice!
A recent desert camping trip (temps > 100 degrees) confirmed that the TF49 would keep food frozen all week (actual length depends on your battery setup)
Webasto heat system operates on a thermostat to keep your van warm and toasty all night.
Webasto is installed neatly under the fridge, and it looks like it belongs.
Safely leave your Webasto running while you surf, hike, fish, or forage, and return to a warm van.
Eliminate the rust/water leak potential from your existing flue for the stock fridge (note, the TF49 model does not run on propane - only AC/DC)
NOTE: Over the past few years we have been disappointed with the reliability and performance of the classic Propex propane heaters and after installing close to 1,000 gas fired heaters in our Mercedes Metris project, we are thrilled to offer this solution and strongly recommend it over the Propex.

We do a lot of custom work at Peace Vans. Share your dream with us, and we'll try to make it happen!
A few projects are also requested often, and we've been able to standardize the approach. We can deliver these upgrades at lower costs than typical custom work.

“This is it! You need not look further for a shop that will treat you right! We are new owners of a Vanagon Syncro and have had almost every major problem you can have with these in the few short months we have owned it. We have experienced MANY shops that claim to know VWs, but NO ONE knows these vans like these guys. Based on my prior interactions with them and their rave reviews from others, we recently drove about 800 miles just to have their opinion of our problem. We were on a 3-4 week road trip that had been derailed several times due to major mechanicals and were just tired of trusting random shops to 'figure something out' at great time and cost and often not fixing the problem.
We were fortunate enough to have them give it a test drive on the weekend while they were technically not open (working on another project), and within 30 minutes, they had diagnosed and fixed the problem! It drove perfectly the rest of the way home, even on rough logging roads.
Hearing them talk and seeing their knowledge in action was awe-inspiring! They know these vans inside and out. Our van is anything but stock with a Subaru conversion and many other aftermarket add-ons, but even with that said, they had intimate knowledge, and we did not need to fill them in on all the complications therein.
These guys are the real deal, and I cannot say enough good things about them. Not only are they incredibly knowledgeable and honest in their love of these vans, but they are just darn nice and friendly people to talk to!
To ease the pain of our frustrating breakdown journey, Harley sent us an e-mail of all the local restaurant and entertainment options while we were in town. This is an example of the extra mile these guys go to help.
We live an hour out of Vancouver, BC, and we have since decided this will be where we will bring our van for all our work and maintenance!”
