Built-in living room & dining room.

Our Mercedes Metris pop-up camper vans come with swivel seats. These are perfect for turning the center of your small van into a living room or dining room. Simply turn the seats around and set up your table, and everyone will face each other.

It has space to stand but can also fit in your garage.

The pop-top is typically used as a bed–but did you know it can be lifted with the van's roof to create more space? When this is done, there is standing space that’s perfect for cooking, setting up camp, and more.

Sleeping room for the entire family.

When the pop-top bed is lowered, it acts as a full-size bed and can comfortably fit two people. It’s a spring-form bed with a 2-inch foam mattress to provide extra comfort. The pop-top bed area also has four USB outlets and three large windows.

There’s also a lower bed that can be set up in seconds. You pull two tabs on the rear seat towards you, and it folds into a comfortable bed with sleeping room for two more. Many of our customers are families with small children, and the sleeping layout in the Metris is the perfect fit.

Takes you to your city office in the morning and up mountainous forestry roads in the evening.

There’s nothing we love more than getting off work on Fridays and heading straight into a weekend full of camping and outdoor adventures. How great would it be to have a pop up camper vehicle that can fit in a city parking garage and take you off-road to your favorite campsites? You’re in luck–the Metris pop up camper can do just that. The van is 78 inches tall with the pop-top, which will easily fit in a standard garage. We recommend adding our 1.5” suspension lift kit and all-terrain tires, increasing your off-road capabilities. Ability to cook a full meal, store cold beverages, and do dishes.

While we can always appreciate a hot dog over the fire or a freeze-dried meal, sometimes we crave a filling, hot meal while camping. Luckily, our Metris campers have a two-burner propane stove, a single-burner butane stove, a refrigerator unit with a small freezer, a sink, and a table. We’ve seen our customers use their kitchen for everything from pasta to steak to pancakes–if you can make it in your kitchen at home, you can probably make it in your van.

It won’t break down on the side of the highway or cost you a fortune in gas.

Most of our customers buy their Metris vans brand new from us. For a limited time, you’ll receive an extended 5-year and 100,000-mile warranty on your vehicle. Maintenance and gas will be much cheaper in a small camper van, as it has an 18.5-gallon tank and gets 21 miles per gallon on average–much higher than your average RV. If anything goes wrong with your conversion, our team is happy to help troubleshoot.

Ready to try out a small-footprint camper van?

At Peace Vans, we have a fly-try-buy program. Here’s how it works: you’ll fly out to Seattle, camp in a Metris for a night (or two!), and make a purchasing decision. If you decide to put down a deposit, we’ll credit the cost of your plane ticket and any rental costs incurred. Act fast–we have less than 50 Metris vans left, so you’ll want to make a deposit before we run out.
