Peace vans upgrades allow customer Andy Clark to adventure in any terrain
While many excellent companies are already building on the Sprinter chassis, Peace Vans recognized an opportunity to offer something different. Rather than entering the crowded conversion market, we chose to focus on a specific need within the Sprinter community—expert upgrades and services for those with existing Sprinter conversions.
When we started the business in the summer of 2023, we looked to partner with some key players we respected and admired. One company in particular stood out: Storyteller Overland. We’ve known the team there for years and have always felt our brands and teams were simpatico. Their community, like ours, is passionate, kind, and caring. And their eye for quality and excellent service gave us the confidence to reach out and become an authorized service center for their products.
Like the Peace Vans family, the Storyteller family is a great one to work with. Recently, we had the chance to work with an awesome Storyteller owner, Andy Clark.
To ensure his van was ready for any challenge, Andy made several key upgrades at Peace Vans to enhance his 2023 Classic Mode AWD by Storyteller Overland:

Andy recently returned from an unforgettable journey through Montana and Wyoming, where he reported that his van handled everything—dirt roads, snow, and rocky trails—with ease. Check out Andy’s stunning footage from the trip here: Montana and Wyoming Adventure.
The Storyteller is a true powerhouse. It’s fully self-contained, offering water and power supplies that allow Andy to stay off-grid for up to 3–4 days. Having already traveled around 15,000 miles across the country, Andy has been impressed by how the Storyteller performs on every type of terrain. While Andy’s 2023 Classic MODE is no longer for sale directly from Storyteller Overland, you can see their 2025 Classic MODE here.
For those with a Storyteller or other adventure rig, Andy highly recommends looking for both dispersed and managed campsites. He’s enjoyed the incredible views in California, Utah, and Colorado, as well as the Pacific Northwest for its beautiful National Parks (we couldn’t agree more!).
One of Andy’s favorite aspects of owning the Storyteller is knowing that Peace Vans is always there to provide expert support for maintenance and upgrades. He’s gearing up for upcoming trips to Alaska and Mexico, but for now, he’s content with having “peace” of mind knowing his van is securely stored at Peace Vans.
