We first heard about a new VW Bus at the Detroit Auto Show in 2010. Since then, the new VW Bus has been one of the most anticipated products in the auto industry.

This fall, it is finally here—the all-electric ID.Buzz from Volkswagen.

Is there any other team better equipped, with more experience and more passion than Peace Vans to turn the ID.Buzz into a camper van? We don’t think so.

Since early 2024 we have been working on designs and prototypes for camping products for the ID.Buzz. We’ve created three options for people who want to turn their ID.Buzz into an adventure vehicle. We will also be offering a Peace Vans exclusive version of the ID.Buzz to be purchased in conjunction with our products.

Transform your ID.Buzz into a versatile weekend camper with the PV.Box. Designed specifically for the ID.Buzz, this unit is constructed from high-quality, lightweight materials. Installed in the rear of your van, the PV.Box offers the perfect set-up for weekend and day trips.

This unit requires removal of the third row seats.

ID Buzz Sleeper by Peace Vans

PV.BOX.Sleeper

Extend the usability of your ID.Buzz with the PV.Box.Sleeper. Building on the functionality of the PV.Box, the PV.Box.Sleeper transforms the back of your van into a comfortable, nearly queen-size, sleeping area.

This unit requires removal of the third row seats.

PV.Camper

Convert your ID.Buzz into a full-fledged camper van with the PV.Camper. Turn your ID.Buzz into the ultimate adventure van with this all in-one, complete interior camper build out, with sleeping for two, internal cabinets, sink, stove, fridge and so much more.

Your ID.Buzz must come to Peace Vans in Seattle for this conversion. This unit requires removal of the both rows of seats.

Purchase your ID.Buzz directly from Peace Vans PLUS one of our camper conversions. Enjoy the convenience of selecting from our exclusive PV.Box, PV.Box.Sleeper, and PV.Camper options, seamlessly integrated into your ID.Buzz and picked up as a full package, ready for the road!

We will have a limited number of vehicles in a variety of colors and options available to purchase directly from Peace Vans.

HOW TO ORDER

Direct Purchase

Bring or ship your ID.Buzz to Peace Vans and we will install the products of your choice. The PV.Box and PV.Box.Sleeper require a day to install. The PV.Camper is a 2-3 week process.

We’ll be partnering with select dealerships to have the PV.Box or PV.Box.Sleeper available to order directly from them to install at your local dealership. Check back here for updates — dealership info. If your dealer is unaware of these products please have them reach out to us directly.

FAQ

  • Peace Vans is excited to begin taking pre-orders for all variations on August 8th. Our ability to start on your conversion will depend on when your ID.Buzz arrives at your local dealership, or to Peace Vans. We have heard the first units will be delivered beginning in November of 2024. We are working with select dealers to stock the PV.Box and PV.Box.Sleeper and have them ready to install prior to delivery. If you choose to have Peace Vans ship to you, expect 3-4 weeks from completion of the order to delivery.

  • Who you order the vehicle from is a personal choice. You are welcome to work with your local dealer or purchase direct from us.

    • PV.Box: $7,995 (plus shipping, applicable taxes, and installation)

    • PV.Box.Sleeper: $10,995 (plus shipping, applicable taxes, and installation)

    • PV.Camper (supplying your own ID.Buzz): Pricing is still TBD

    • Purchase one of the above options PLUS an ID.Buzz direct from Peace Vans: We will charge MSRP for the vehicle plus a small set of fees. And the retail cost of the unit you select.

    A deposit is required to secure your product or conversion.

  • Yes! Starting in 2025, you can rent an ID.Buzz camper through Peace Vans Rentals. If you decide to purchase an ID.Buzz camper from us after your rental, you will receive a partial credit of your rental costs towards the purchase.

  • Yes! If you want to skip the queue at your local dealer, we have a limited quantity of ID.Buzz vans (in various configurations) reserved for us. These require you to opt into one of our builds (i.e. you can't just buy the ID.Buzz and drive away). These will start arriving around January of 2025 at Peace Vans. Options, trim level and details are TBD.

  • For detailed vehicle information, your best source will be VW.com. Recently VW announced an EPA rated range of 242 miles.

  • Yes! We are currently developing a suite of accessories and add-ons from awnings, to rear tents, to window covers, to roof racks, and more! Keep an eye on our website for updates, or sign up for our newsletter for the latest info.

  • All Peace Vans products for the ID.Buzz come with a limited 12 month warranty. At present, none of the projected plans for the ID.Buzz should affect the VW warranty on your new van. As we develop our plans and products we will always provide you with the most up to date information we have on this topic
