For nearly 3 years we worked with teams at Mercedes-Benz to bring a modern camper van to market in a scaled fashion. We’re rooted in the pop up world, and our hearts are tethered to that function and aesthetic. We are thrilled to have a formal partnership with Mercedes-Benz and Driverge Innovation Solutions to build the Mercedes-Benz Getaway Van. Together, the three companies are delivering what we’ve all been longing for—a modern pop up camper.

Peace Vans is the only Metris builder to be affiliated in this way, and this relationship has obvious advantages for our customers. More Metris vans on the road is a good thing for everyone.

As announced on February 4th, 2020 select Mercedes-Benz dealerships around the US will be able to order a custom version of the Peace Vans Modern Weekender - called the Getaway van. These vans are nearly identical to our existing Weekender version with the primary exception of the pop top wrapped in high quality 3M vehicle vinyl wrap in one of over 100 color options. Peace Vans will still offer pop tops painted and a perfect match to your van. If you want a custom color on your pop top, talk to your local Mercedes dealer about the Peace Vans Weekender Getaway van through the Mercedes Master Solution program.
